This webinar will cover who is subject to expedited removal, the limited procedures involved, the consequences of an expedited removal order, and advocacy strategies for getting your client out of expedited removal. Panelists include:

  • Trina Realmuto, Litigation Director at the National Immigration Project of the National Lawyers Guild
  • Jennifer Chang Newell, Senior Staff Attorney with the ACLU Immigrant Rights Project
  • Mary Kenney, Senior Staff Attorney with the American Immigration Council.

#STANDWITHIMMIGRANTS is a collaboration between the Immigration Advocates Network (IAN), American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA), Catholic Legal Immigration Network (CLINIC), The Advocates for Human Rights, National Council of La Raza (NCLR), and Pro Bono Net to empower legal advocates and other allies across the United States to protect our friends and neighbors from deportation and ensure fair treatment and due process through volunteer recruitment, training, advocacy, and support.
