Allegheny Coounty Bar Association logoThe Allegheny County Bar Association Military and Veterans Affairs Committee is presenting a live CLE program entitled Allegheny County Veterans Treatment Court: What Is it and When Can Your Clients Use it? on May 28, 2024 from 12:00 PM-1:00 PM Eastern. This program is only being offered live in-person at the Koppers Building.

During this program, employees from the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs will discuss the Veterans Court Unit of Allegheny County, where former military service members with criminal charges and at least one mental health diagnosis are provided with increased supervision, treatment, peer support groups and/or mentoring. Presenters will give an overview of the services offered through the program, who is eligible and how and when attorneys should direct their clients to the program.
