Akkwgheny County Bar Association logoThe Allegheny County Bar Association Nonprofit Law Committee is presenting a live webinar entitled, Nonprofit Political Activity: Practical Tips for Nonprofits and Boards in an Election Year, on May 22, 2024 from 12:00 PM-1:00 PM Eastern.

This program will offer a helpful overview of the rules regarding political activity for 501(c)(3) organizations including lobbying, advocacy and support of political issues. The panelists will also offer a brief description of the spectrum of permissible political activity and the role of 501(c)(4) organizations. This program will be useful for attorneys who serve on nonprofit boards, as well as nonprofit staff. Participants will learn easy applicable tips focused on common pitfalls and misunderstandings around this topic.
