The Philadelphia Bar Association is presenting a hybrid CLE program entitled Everything You Wanted to Know About the Volunteer Attorney Panels of the U.S. District Court for the E.D.PA on April 3, 2024 from 12:30 PM-1:30 PM Eastern. Co-Hosted by the Federal Courts Committee, Young Lawyers Division and the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.

In this CLE program, attendees will hear a comprehensive description of the Volunteer Attorney Panels of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania: the Prisoner Civil Rights Panel, the Employment Panel, and the Social Security Panel.  These panels provide meaningful opportunities for members of the federal bar to gain valuable in-court experience, while also providing meaningful assistance to the court in managing a demanding and important aspect of the docket. Panelists also provide an overview of the new Volunteer Attorney Panel System, which has been updated (from 9/21/2023), along with who to contact with system questions, as well as who to contact if you are interested in joining a panel.
