The Public Defender Association of Pennsylvania is hosting a virtual training event entitled Racial Justice Series - Suppression of Education, Voting Rights & Worker’s Rights  will be held on March 7, 2024 from 2:00 PM-3:30 PM Eastern.

FOR: All Public Defenders (lawyer, social worker, investigator, mitigator, support staff)

WHO: Marian Schneider of the ACLU-PA (Philadelphia) and Paige Joki of the Education Law Center

CLE: this training provides 1 hour of substantive and .5 hours of ethics CLE credits. 

REGISTRATION FEES: Free for Public Defenders (lawyers and non-lawyers), $25 for private attorneys and $15 for conflict counsel and public interest attorneys.

This is part of a monthly online Racial Justice training series that began in February. The series will be held on the first Thursday of each month from 2:00 PM-3:30 PM Eastern. Each session offers 1.0 substantive PA CLE credit and 0.5 ethics PA CLE credit.
