Allegheny County Bar Association logoThe Allegheny County Bar Association Workers’ Compensation Section is presenting a live in-person CLE program entitled Let’s Talk About Racial, Ethnic and Gender Bias in the Legal Workplace on Wednesday, February 14, 2024 from 12:00 PM-1:00 PM Eastern.  This program is only being offered live in-person at the Koppers Building,436 Seventh Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA 15219

This program will examine real-life legal workplace scenarios in an experience from “Project Objection,” a program developed by the Continuing Legal Education Board of Pennsylvania in conjunction with Carnegie Mellon University. Project Objection encourages considering issues that arise when attempting to develop and facilitate diverse teams and work environments, including examining different viewpoints and perspectives.

Using vignettes and personal experiences, presenters will discuss these challenges and provide strategies on how attorneys can successfully navigate these issues and learn something about themselves and others to help make better practitioners.
