Neighborhood Legal Services logoJoin Allegheny County Housing Court staff, Neighborhood Legal Services, Community Justice Project, and the Pittsburgh Pro Bono Partnership for a CLE presentation entitled Arbitrating and Mediating Landlord/Tenant Disputes on Tuesday, February 20, 2024 from 9:00 AM-2:00 PM Eastern. The program will be held in the Jury Assignment Room on the 7th Floor of the City-County Building located at 414 Grant Street, Pittsburgh, PA 15219.

This CLE will provide updates in Landlord-Tenant Law, prepare attorneys to provide mediation and arbitration services, and discuss representing qualifying clients who are going into mediation at the Court of Common Pleas.

Attorneys can volunteer to serve as a pro bono attorney representing tenants in mediations, and/or they can sign-up to serve as a mediator or an arbitrator with the court.  Attorneys can serve in these roles for a half-day on Thursdays, as often as they would like.

Registration
  • Free for attorneys participating in any Pro Bono Landlord Tenant Project as well as Arbitrators and Mediators
  • $40 for attorneys who do not want CLE credit
  • $80 for attorneys not participating in any Pro Bono Landlord Tenant Project but want CLE credit
