Each year, in conjunction with international Conflict Resolution Day, Good Shepherd Mediation Program honors several individuals who have been instrumental in encouraging peace and social justice in Philadelphia and names them "Shepherds of Peace."

This year's Shepherds of Peace honorees are:

• Kevin Bethel, retired Assistant Police Commissioner, Stonleigh Fellow, architect of the Philadelphia Pre-Arrest School Diversion Program.
• James Rosenstein, Negotiation Facilitator, Mediation Ambassador and Leader, and GSMP Volunteer Mediator. 
• Rachel Falkove, Executive Director of the Philadelphia Interfaith Hospitality Network.
