Lackawanna Pro Bono, Inc.
Lackawanna Pro Bono is a pro bono referral program. The organization provides free legal representation to low income individuals who have civil legal problems in Lackawanna County, PA by arranging for attorneys to volunteer their time and professional expertise.
The organization handles a wide variety of civil cases, offering services that range from brief advice to extended litigation, depending on the nature and merits of the case. Among the services provided are a Family Law Help Desk, through which clients receive brief advice on family law issues, and an Elder Law Clinic, through which simple wills, powers of attorney, and health care directives are drafted and senior citizens receive brief advice on a variety of matters.

CLE pro bono commentsBeginning in 2019, attorneys may receive one (1) CLE credit hour for every five (5) hours of pro bono service completed through Accredited Pro Bono CLE Providers. A maximum of three hours may be applied per compliance period.
