Champions for Justice were celebrated at the SeniorLAW Center 2024 Gala on Wednesday night, April 10th, at The Lucy in Philadelphia. PBA Pro Bono Coordinator David Keller Trevaskis is pictured here with Larry Felzer who was honored for 20+ years of visionary leadership in the nonprofit, LGBTQ+, public interest and legal communities and as a staff leader at SeniorLAW Center. 

The PBA Real Property, Probate and Trust Law Section, under the direction of past Section Chair, PNC’s  Alison Smith, has an ongoing pro bono project with SeniorLaw Center doing Wills Clinics and it was one of many sponsors of the 2024 Gala.

Other honorees included  Stephen Stewart for a decade of advocating and leadership as a member of SeniorLaw’s  Board of Directors and Susan Lessack of Troutman Pepper for exceptional dedication to pro bono service. SeniorLaw’s Grandparents Justice Council was recognized for its partnership in the program’s work and for being heroes raising their grandchildren at times of trauma.

Tanya Reid, CNC Skyrocket Communications, Inc. served as 2024 Gala Chair. Beth Rubin of PNC is the SeniorLaw’s Board Chair.

Karen Buck, SeniorLaw’s longtime Executive Director, thanked “all who support our mission of justice.”  She added, “So much to celebrate. Onward!”
