Volunteers may participate In-Person (Pittsburgh) or Virturally

Together with LIFE Pittsburgh, the Allegheny County Bar Foundation (ACBF) and Thomas R. Kline School of Law of Duquesne University's Tribone Center for Clinical Legal Education, the Real Property, Probate and Trust (RPPT) Law Section of the Pennsylvania Bar Association is sponsoring a pro bono Estate Planning Clinic for low-income clients on Friday, March 10 beginning at 9:00 AM.

The Section needs volunteer lawyers to supervise Duquesne’s Kline School of Law students as they meet with clients to draft simple wills and advance planning documents for health care and financial decision-making. Volunteer lawyers can participate in person or virtually. Please volunteer for this worthy cause and inspiring event!

No experience drafting Wills or other estate planning documents? Don’t worry! We’ve got you covered. Training will be provided on the day of the event. Each volunteer attorney will be assigned to supervise one or more law students as they meet with clients and draft documents for them. The students and clients will be on site at LIFE Pittsburgh.

Those volunteer attorneys who choose to participate virtually will be connected with the students and clients through Zoom. Template forms will be provided. RPPT Law Section volunteers will be available as a resource to answer questions and assist as needed.
