Penn State Dickinson Law’s Outlaw student organization will be hosting free Name Change Assistance Clinics throughout this fall and need the assistance of volunteer attorneys. The clinics provides the paperwork clients need to change their name in county-specific packets of the forms necessary to change an individual's name and gender on driver’s license, birth certificate, SSA Card, etc.

The students provide the paperwork and help participants fill out the forms and answer questions. Volunteer attorney are needed to support the students by providing legal advice to clients and answering questions that the student volunteers cannot answer.

Each clinic will take place at Penn State Dickinson Law School, Trickett Hall Commons, 150 S. College Street, Carlisle, PA, on the following dates from 7:00 PM-9:00 PM.:

• September 24, 2025
• October 22, 2025
• November 5, 2025
• November 19, 2025
