Pennsylvania Bar Foundation Releases 2024 Impact Report

2024 impact Repoert coverThe Pennsylvania Bar Foundation has released its 2024 Impact Report.

Created in response to the organized bar’s desire to become more involved in public service, the Pennsylvania Bar Foundation works to improve the public’s understanding of the law and our judicial system. It strives to ensure citizens have full and equal access to justice through our legal system.

This year the Foundation celebrates its 40th Anniversary. For 40 years, the Foundation has championed access to justice, provided law student scholarships and funded grants for law-related education and pro bono programs. The Foundation achieves its mission by providing grants to support legal services and programs, offering law student scholarships and partnering with donors to fully realize their charitable aspirations.

The impact Report highlights the work of the Foundation throughout 2024. This includes the awarding of grants to support pro bono and indigent legal assistance; law-related education and special programs; and local bar initiatives. The Foundation also distributes numerous scholarships provided to worthy law students, and administers, in conjunction with the PBA, the PA IOLTA Board and the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania, the Loan Repayment Assistance Program supporting attorneys employed in IOLTA-funded legal aid organizations across Pennsylvania.

The Foundation invites interested individuals to read the entire Impact Report to see the full scope of its work to  improves the public’s understanding of the law and its appreciation of democracy, and to ensure that all citizens of Pennsylvania have full access to our legal system.
