PA Bar Foundation’s Night “IN” 2020 - Nov. 19

The Pennsylvania Bar Foundation will host its marquee fundraising event on Thursday, Nov. 19, 2020 at 6:00 PM. Instead of meeting in-person, this year’s NightOUT will be a Night "IN" as the PA Bar Association’s 125th Anniversary is celebrated virtually. This annual fundraiser helps to support the collaborative efforts toward administering the Pennsylvania Interest on Lawyers’ Trust Accounts (IOLTA) Loan Repayment Assistance Program (LRAP).

The resilience and resolve of the members of the PA Bar Association is exemplified during this year especially with the work it has accomplished with the COVID-19 Task Force and the many tools and resources provided to members, who in turn can be better for their clients and communities. The PA Bar Foundation is proud to be the PA Bar Association’s charitable partner and welcomes the opportunity to showcase its 125-year history of legal excellence.

Former president of the Legal Services Corporation James Sandman will keynote the evening’s festivities. Other guest speakers will include: PBA President David E. Schwager, PBA Executive Director Barry M. Simpson and Executive Director of MidPenn Legal Services Rhodia Thomas. In addition, Pennsylvania Supreme Court Chief Justice Thomas G. Saylor will provide a brief address during the event.

From the comfort of your home, with a beverage of your choice, you can sit back and enjoy a casual night of memories and friendships. This year, the Foundation is partnering with ONEHOPE, a company whose commitment to high-quality wine is as important as their commitment to the causes they support, like the Foundation. Those who choose can buy a special bottle of wine commemorating the event. A portion of all wines purchased through attending or sponsoring the Night "IN", will be returned to the PA Bar Foundation to support the LRAP.

For more information about ONEHOPE and how they are helping this cause visit http://bit.ly/PABarFoundationNightIN. Buy online through this link and 10% of the purchase will be donated to the foundation. Be sure to encourage others to join as we toast the PBA, its members and our continued partnership to bring equal access to justice to all Pennsylvanians.
