The Allegheny County Bar Association has announced the winners of the 2012 ACBA Pro Bono Achievement awards. These awards recognize individuals, law firms, legal departments, and organizations who have made significant contributions to enhancing the provision of free legal services to low-income residents of Allegheny County in the past year.

The award recipients are:

• Lorraine M. Bittner Public Interest Attorney Award:  Kathryn McKee, Esq.

• Jane F. Hepting Individual Pro Bono Award:  Jonathan S. McAnney, Esq.

• Organization Pro Bono Award:  Dickie McCamey & Chilcote, PC

• Paralegal Pro Bono Awards: Ann Carson, Connie Kelley, and Cindy Wirtz

• Special Service Pro Bono Awards: - ACBA Family Law Section, Deborah Kutzavitch, Esq., and F.J. Lucchino

• Young Lawyer Pro Bono Award: Emily Gomez, Esq.

The winners will be recognized at the 2012 Fellows Grand Reception, which will be held on September 27 at LeMont restaurant. The featured speaker is Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Charlie Batch.
