PLI Launches New Pro Bono Practice Area Site

Tuesday, October 03, 2017

Practising Law Institute (PLI) announces the launch of a new Pro Bono practice area website dedicated to the important public service work of legal professionals. The comprehensive, easy-to-navigate site will offer access to PLI programs that provide the training critical to effective legal representation.

The new Pro Bono site is also accessible from the PLI homepage (www.pli.edu) and contains hundreds of hours of content encompassing many subject areas at all levels of experience. Areas of interest include timely access-to-justice issues such as housing, immigration, consumer bankruptcy, children's rights, civil rights, consumer protection, as well as disaster assistance, education law, elder law, and family law. The programs are presented in convenient Live, Webcast, and On-Demand formats.

"We are pleased to bring our Pro Bono content to a wider audience, now more accessible than ever through the new practice area site," said Janet L. Siegel, Director of Pro Bono Services. "As a nonprofit organization, PLI is committed to providing attorneys with the necessary training to assist individuals in need of legal representation."
