The Practising Law Institute is offering a free one-hour briefing via webcast entitled Successful Pro Bono Models for In-House Counsel: How to Effectively Provide Legal Assistance to Low-Income People on October 26, 2017 at 1:00 pm Eastern.

In-house counsel will hear from pro bono professionals at the two largest legal services organizations in the country about the most effective ways for attorneys at corporations to engage in pro bono efforts.  The discussion will include the basic ingredients of a successful in-house pro bono project; common pitfalls to avoid; examples of successful pro bono models; and where to find specific in-house opportunities to provide pro bono support to low-income people.
