Philadelphia VIP logoPhiladelphia VIP, the hub of pro bono legal services in Philadelphia, will hold its Summer Pro Bono Program for Law Students on June 19, 2017 from 11:30 am-2:30 pm at Peco Energy Hall, 2301 Market Street, Lower Level, Philadelphia, PA 19103.

Philadelphia VIP’s Summer Pro Bono Program educates law students about the critical legal needs of low-income Philadelphians.

Particpants will:

  • Discuss the importance of pro bono service with judges from the First Judicial District of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia Bar Association leadership, and VIP Board Members.
  • Hear directly from Philadelphia VIP clients and VIP volunteer attorneys.
  • Learn about poverty in Philadelphia and the opportunities that VIP offers its volunteers to pursue legal justice for Philadelphians in need.

Registration:

  • Organization Registration: $25.00
    For organizations looking to register a group of law students or summer associates.
  • Law Student Individual Registration (Paid Employment): $25.00
    For law students with paid summer employment or paid internships.
  • Law Student Individual Registration (Unpaid Employment): Free
    For law students with non-paying summer positions or for those seeking employment.
