The Erie County Bar Association, in cooperation with the Erie Runners Club, will be holiding its Eighth Annual Law Day 5K Run/Walk on Saturday, April 30, 2011 beginning at 9:00 a.m. in front of the Erie County Courthouse, 140 West Sixth Street.
The race benefits the Association's signature community project - Attorneys & Kids Together (AKT) - and provides more than 50% of the annual income needed to fund this program. These funds help the AKT program continue to serve the educational needs of Erie County children and youth living in homeless situations. Read more about the projects and programs that Attorneys & Kids Together offers. The race also benefits the Erie Runners Club scholarship fund.

POSTMARK DEADLINE TO PRE-REGISTER IS FRIDAY, APRIL 15, 2011
The 5k will take you from the front of the Erie County Courthouse along West 6th Street, turning North on Cherry to 5th Street, West on 5th to Cranberry, back up to 6th and return along 6th around Perry Square to the finish line.

- Top three male and female attorneys Run & Walk
- 5K Run - Age group awards to the top three males and females in categories starting with 12 and under, 13-15, 16-19 and then in five year increments 20-24, up to 70 and over
- All children 12 and under to receive participation medals
There will be a packet pick-up for pre-registered runners and walkers on Friday, April 29 from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. at the Erie County Bar Association Headquarters, 302 West Ninth Street. Registrations for the event will also be accepted during this time.
Day-of-Race registration, pre-registered packet pick-up and Chip pick-up will resume on Saturday, April 30 at 8:00 a.m. at the Perry Square Gazebo.
