This program will explore cyberse
 curity and ethical issues that can arise for legal
  services and public interest attorneys. Faculty w
 ill review key ethical duties including the duty o
 f supervision, competence, and client confidential
 ity and how those obligations impact the attorney’
 s responsibility to safeguard against both externa
 l and internal cybersecurity threats.   

Facult
 y will also provide tips in navigating common issu
 es in technology as a lawyer, including email, com
 munications, the use of Generative AI, and handlin
 g remote work given attorneys’ ethical obligations
 . Faculty will also discuss ways in which attorney
 s should counsel clients to safeguard their own in
 formation. Finally, faculty will also discuss best
  practices for handling technology-facilitated abu
 se in intimate partner violence contexts.   What Y
