Pennsylvania Legal Aid Network, Inc., through its DAP Planning Committee, is hosting a training entitled, Handling SSI/SSDI Overpayment Cases under SSA's New Waiver and Recoupment Policies on Thursday, January 23, 2025 from 2:00 PM–3:30 PM Eastern.

In November 2024, the Social Security Administration released dozens of (mostly positive) changes to its overpayment policies.  It's now much easier to show financial hardship, demonstrate lack of fault, and get manageable payment agreements.  Please join us for an overview of the changes, some practice tips for filing waivers and updating existing waiver requests, and a forecast of what to expect in 2025.
