Philadelphia VIP is hosting a virtual presentation entitled Probate Training: Tangled Title 101 on December 3, 2024 from 12:00 PM–1:30 PM Eastern.

It costs on average $9,200 to resolve a “tangled title” and become a legal homeowner in Philadelphia. This puts homeownership out of reach of the thousands of Philadelphians living in a deceased relative’s home. Volunteer attorneys can help residents overcome this hurdle.

Please join Philadelphia VIP for a virtual introductory probate training. VIP staff will lead you through the process and answer questions about ongoing cases. Attendees will leave the training feeling prepared to handle a VIP tangled title case and help their clients take ownership of their family homes.

This training is perfect for volunteers working on their first or second probate or attorneys who want to learn more before taking their first case. Participants are encouraged to select a case from VIP's case list so you can refer to the case file during the training.
