The American Bar Association Standing Commmittee on Legal Assistance for Military Personnel is presenting a live webinar entitled  Key Family Law Matters Involving Military Families: Series 1 on Wednesday, April 12, 2023 from 12:00 PM-3:20 PM Eastern.

This program is designed for military attorneys working in legal assistance, as well as civilian lawyers whose practices involve servicemember or veteran clients or issues.

During this first of two series regarding family law matters involving military families, from this  presentation, you will learn the latest about three key topics: (1) domestic violence, focusing on available civil remedies and criminal processes, as well as the impact on military service, (2) military pension division, examining what and how to divide military pensions, and (3) the Servicemembers Civil Relief Act and how it is applicable to family law cases

COST:For this 3-hour CLE:
  • $60 for ABA members
  • $120 for non-members
  • FREE for all military attorneys (Judge Advocates), military paralegals, and civilians employed by the military who register before the live webinar.
