Pennsylvania Legal Aid Network, Inc. logoThis workshop, entitled What does it mean if a debt is discharged?, offered on January 27, 2023, is part of a series of ten training programs entitled the 2023 PLAN Bankruptcy Boot Camp that is being hosted by Pennsylvania Legal Aid Network, Inc. on consecutive Fridays through March 24, 2023.

All sessions will run from 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM Eastern. One substantive CLE credit will be offered for each training with additional time built in for questions, comments, and strategic discussion.

This workshop will cover the following topics:

  • What debts are discharged?
  • Difference between discharge in Ch. 7 and Ch. 13
  • eligibility for a discharge order--local requirements in Ch. 13
  • Financial management course
  • Converting from one chapter to another

    This program has been approved by the Pennsylvania Continuing Legal Education Board for one (1.0) hours of substantive law, practice and procedure CLE credit.
