Philadelphia VIP logoPhiladelphia VIP will be hosting a Virtual Training: Landlord/Tenant Appeals in the Court of Common Pleas on July 22, 2021 from 11:00 AM-12:00 PM Eastern.

Join VIP and Community Legal Services (CLS) for a one-hour training on handling landlord/tenant appeals in the Court of Common Pleas. This training, led by CLS Senior Attorney Michael Carroll and VIP volunteer Jared Bayer of Cozen O’Connor, will give attendees the tools necessary to appeal a Municipal Court landlord/tenant decision against a client living in poverty.

Due to office closures and in the interest of protecting our community’s health, this training will take place via Zoom. Zoom meeting information will be provided to attendees after registration.

  • CLE Credit Comments:

    Attendees will receive one substantive CLE credit for completing the training.

    Attendance at this event is categorized as "distance learning" by the PA CLE Board. Effective January 1, 2021 through December 31, 2021 the CLE Board has adopted a temporary policy to recognize live online programming by accredited distance learning providers as live (non-capped) credit towards lawyers' CLE requirement.
