The Barristers Association of Philadelphia is offering a free* virtual CLE program entitled The New Pathway to Pardons: The Barristers Pardon Project on October 28, 2020 from 12:00 PM-1:30 PM. An optional follow-up session will also  be held on November 4, 2020 from 12:00 PM-12:30 PM.

Criminal record histories are keeping not just individuals and families in poverty, but whole neighborhoods, and Pennsylvania’s Auditor General and Secretary of Labor & Industry have called for many more pardons to be granted, much more quickly.

THE GOOD NEWS: the Pennsylvania Board of Pardons has made major reforms to the pardon process and is recommending 87% of all pardon applications it hears!

In this two-hour program, you will learn about the new pardon process and forms, what the Board of Pardons is looking for, and how you can so easily help someone with a criminal record maximize their chances of receiving a hearing, a pardon, and a second chance. This training will enable you to immediately start representing private clients.
