Topics:
  • Domestic Violence / Protection from Abuse
  • Custody

Dauphin County Bar Association logoThe Dauphin County Bar Association is hosting a virtual CLE program entitled Domestic Violence and Custody Issues: Community, COVID, and Practice Pointers on October 20, 2020 from 12:00 PM-2:00 PM Eastern.

This program will begin with an overview of what domestic violence and custody issues look like in our community, then we’ll address the increase in incidents and legal needs since COVID-19 started to spread in Central PA.

Panelists will explain practice updates, pointers for handling these sensitive cases during a pandemic, how the court handles specific assignments, and Judges’ perspectives on these cases. This program will include enough detail for seasoned attorneys, while offering a sufficient scope of domestic violence and custody issues in our area for those new to these topics.

All proceeds from registration will benefit the Foundation’s We Care About Children. WCAC is a collaboration with MidPenn Legal Services to make sure everyone dealing with domestic violence or custody issues has access to justice and legal support.
