The Pro Bono Center of the Allegheny County Bar Foundation is partnering with Duquesne University School of Law to provide a CLE and volunteer opportunity to help senior citizens with low incomes prepare simple wills and other advanced planning documents.

The CLE will be held on Friday, Oct. 18, noon to 2:30 p.m. at Duquesne Law School. The next day, volunteer attorneys will meet with clients at Spartan Community Center in Hazelwood.

CLE: Introduction to Will Drafting and Advance Directives: A Medical-Legal Perspective

Please join the Pro Bono Center of the Allegheny County Bar Foundation and the Duquesne University School of Law to learn how you can help low income clients prepare simple estate planning documents. This CLE program will provide volunteer attorneys with the skills, knowledge, and tools needed to prepare simple Pennsylvania Wills, Powers of Attorney for clients with low incomes who qualify for free legal services.

Medical-Legal Advance Health Care Directives Panel

Participants will hear from an interdisciplinary panel of medical and legal experts offering a collaborative approach to decision making about end-of-life care.

Lunch will be provided.
