Philadelphia VIP will be holding a free training program for participating volunteers entitled Custody: Providing Stability for Families on May 15, 2019 from 12:00 pm - 2:30 pm at DLA Piper, 1650 Market Street, #4900, Philadelphia, PA 19103.

Eighty-five percent of litigants in Philadelphia Family Court proceed pro se. These litigants, most of whom cannot afford an attorney, must navigate complex legal concepts and laborious procedures on their own as the court makes decisions that define their most significant personal relationships.

This training, led by Lee Schwartz and Sarah Katz. will provide practical information about how you can make a difference by representing a custody client before a Philadelphia Master or Judge.

Lunch will be provided.
