This program will provide attorneys interested in serving on a nonprofit board with an introduction to the role of a Board of Directors and the laws governing nonprofits, including charitable issues raised under state and federal laws. After the first hour, a moderated panel will share their experiences and give guidance to those who are interested in joining a nonprofit board.

After the 1-hour CLE, a panel of Executive Directors and Board members of charitable organizations, will share their experiences and give guidance to those who are interested in joining a nonprofit board.
