Philadelphia VIP, the hub of pro bono legal services in Philadelphia, is pleased to announce our annual training event, Pro Bono Opportunities Day, part of National Pro Bono Week 2016. The event will take place on October 24, 2016 from 8:00 am-11:00 am at the Philadelphia Bar Association, 1101 Market Street, 10th Floor, Philadelphia, PA 19107.

Join us as we navigate the ethics of pro bono work and the impact it has on low-income Philadelphians with critical legal needs.

Participants will review the rules of ethical conduct as they relate to common scenarios that arise during pro bono representation of low-income clients.  Using an interactive question and answer format, participants will walk away with a thorough understanding of what issues may arise in their representation and how to handle them.
