Philadelphia Bar Foundation and Rutgers University School of Law-Camden are offering a Trial Advocacy Training Program for Philadelphia-area public interest civil and criminal attorneys on October 7-9, 2013.

The 3-day training program will take place at Rutgers and will be provided free of charge to qualifying attorneys. Costs of the program will be covered by the Bar Foundation's R. Nicholas Gimbel Fund.

The program is is open to attorneys working at public interest organizations funded by the Philadelphia Bar Foundation (and others as space permits) and will teach trial advocacy techniques (opening statements/closing arguments; direct and cross-examination; case analysis and preparation).

The program will utilize a variety of teaching methods including lecture, demonstration, and courtroom role playing that will be videotaped and critiqued. The Program Faculty will consist of some of the best trial lawyers and teachers from both the region and throughout the country.
