Nationalities Service Center will present its Global Tastes Annual Event, a celebration of Philadelphia's diverse communities through food, on September 26, 2013 from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m., at the Horticultural Center, Fairmount Park, North Horticultural Drive, Philadelphia.

This celebration of Philadelphia's diverse communities and foods from around the world is inspired by the immigrants and refugees that rely on NSC daily for educational, legal and social services.

This annual event is produced by NSC in their continual effort to replenish and increase funds for the organization so that they can continue to enhance the services offered to over 4,000 immigrants and refugees in the Philadelphia area.

Restaurants from all over the Philadelphia area will prepare a tasting of globally inspired dishes for guests to experience and enjoy. A number of restaurants continue to support Global Tastes yearly, and the list of participants continues to grow.

The Nationalities Service Award will also be presented at the event. This is an award given to a leader in the community who has demonstrated qualities that exemplify NSC's mission, including a commitment to diversity and inclusion and support of immigration causes.

This year's award recipient is Romulo L. Diaz, Jr., Vice President and General Counsel, PECO.
