It Starts at The Top (ABA Center for Pro Bono Exchange)

This post to the ABA Center for Pro Bono Exchange discusses the importance of having support from upper management for a strong pro bono culture to thrive. This applies to organizations with in house legal departments as well as to large and small law firms, and government offices, basically any setting in which lawyers are employed. Without the proper support from those with authority within an organization, meaningful growth in the number of attorneys who provide pro bono is unlikely.
