The Philadelphia Bar Foundation Awards Committee has announced that Thu Tran, Senior Supervising Staff Attorney for the Energy and Utilities Unit at Community Legal Services is the 2011 Philadelphia Bar Foundation Award recipient. The award recognizes a public interest attorney who provides exceptional service to the non-profit legal services community.

Blank Rome LLP is the 2011 Philadelphia Bar Foundation Pro Bono Award recipient. The award recognizes a Philadelphia law firm or corporate legal department that demonstrates outstanding volunteer efforts in providing legal services to those in need.

Both awards will be presented at the 33rd annual Andrew Hamilton Benefit on November 19th at the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts in Philadelphia.
