Cambria Bar Association Sponsors 5K Race
Monday, June 21, 2010
- Organization: Cambria Bar Association
The Cambria Bar Association is sponsoring a 5K race on July 31st to benefit the Cambria Bar Foundation.
The Cambria Bar Foundation (a fund through the Community Foundation for the Alleghenies) is committed to providing community outreach legal programs to benefit residents in Cambria County.
Most recently the Bar Foundation has sponsored the Stepping Out Program which is presented to high school students across the area and offers advice and other information for seniors that will be heading off to college and "stepping out" in the real world. They have also sponsored Law Day at area schools, Mock Trials and Wills for First Responders.
The Cambria Bar Association is seeking supporters who are interested in assisting in the effort to raise funds for the Foundation by becoming a tee-shirt sponsor for the race.
For a minimum donation of $100 your company's name will be listed on the back of the tee-shirt which will be given to each participant of the race. With a $500 donation, your company's name will appear on the shirt in larger print as a Silver Sponsor and on a sign at registration.
If you are interested in participating as a race sponsor please contact Robin Mitchell-Hagins at the Cambria Bar Foundation at 814-255-3221 or CambriaBar@verizon.net.
If you are interested in participating in the race, the race application is at the link below. The early registration fee for the race is $15.00 if your registration post-marked by July 15, 2010. The regular registration fee is $20.00 for registrations post-marked after July 15, 2010 or paid on race day.
The race will be run/walk on the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown Cross Country Course beginning at 9:00 am.
