NLADA Seeks Nominations for Beacon of Justice Award

The National Legal Aid and Defender Association is seeking nominations by law firms that have made a significant commitment to pro bono representation in the area of immigration for its Beacon of Justice Award.

Nominations may be submitted by law firms who have devoted considerable resources and have made a significant impact on the lives of immigrants and/or immigrants and their families.

Eligible firms include those that have provided direct legal representation and or have been engaged in law reform efforts between January 1, 2009 and April 30, 2010.

Nominations submitted by organizations on behalf of law firms will be accepted. Law firms will be selected based on the impact of their representation of immigrants and/or immigrants and their family.

To be considered for this prestigious award and honored at the NLADA Exemplar Award Dinner on October 6, 2010 in Wahington, D.C., please complete the application at the link below by August 27, 2010.
