Lindsay Oliver Honored by Allegheny County Bar Association for Ongoing Volunteer Work

Lindsey A, Oliver, EsquireLindsay Oliver, an attorney  in the Pittsburgh office of Cohen & Grigsby, has received the 2008 Jane F. Hepting Individual Pro Bono Award from the Allegheny County Bar Foundation for her pro bono representation of indigent clients at a low-income legal aid clinic sponsored by Christian Legal Aid of Pittsburgh. The award honors her commitment to public service.

Oliver was recognized at the Allegheny County Bar Association’s Twelfth Annual Fellows Reception and Dinner on September 17th at the LeMont Restaurant in Pittsburgh.

“This honor speaks volumes about Lindsay’s dedication, character and compassion for serving others,” said Jack Elliott, president and CEO of Cohen & Grigsby. “Lindsay’s efforts are a clear example of the ‘culture of giving’ that we support at the firm.”

Oliver is an Associate in the Business Practice Group, focusing on financial transactions that include commercial lending, leasing arrangements and structured finance.

She received her J.D. from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law and her M.B.A. from the Joseph M. Katz Graduate School of Business at the University of Pittsburgh. Oliver earned her B.S. in Finance from the University of Pittsburgh.
