The SeniorLAW Center and Villanova School of Law will partner in presenting a pro bono CLE training program to serve older Pennsylvanians entitled, Personal Planning 101: Wills, Living Wills, and Powers of Attorney.
The training will take place on Thursday, February 11, 2010, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., at Villanova School of Law, 299 Spring Mill Road, Villanova.
Participants will learn how to prepare and execute basic personal planning documents, including simple wills, living wills and financial and health care powers of attorney.
Attendees will not only learn the relevant Pennsylvania law and pertinent definitions, but also drafting tips and ways to address common misconceptions their clients may have about this area of law. Particular focus will be given to preparing and executing documents for SeniorLAW Center's client base: older Pennsylvanians in need.
This training program is free and two (2) CLE credits will be available to those who agree to provide pro bono services to a SeniorLAW Center personal planning client. (Nominal administrative fee payable to PA CLE Board.)
