Reception Honors Attorney Jeffrey A. Ernico for Pro Bono Accomplishments

A breakfast reception hosted by the Pennsylvania Bar Association and the law firm of Mette Evans and Woodside was held on Wednesday, March 22nd at the Harrisburg Hilton and Towers celebrating the pro bono accomplishments of Harrisburg attorney Jeffrey A. Ernico, the outgoing president, and a continuing member of the Pennsylvania Legal Services Board of Directors.
In honor of Mr. Ernico's long-standing commitment to equal justice and serving those who had nowhere else to turn through his pro bono efforts, the Pennsylvania Bar Association named an award in his honor.
The Jeffrey A. Ernico Award is an occasional award of the Pennsylvania Bar Association's Legal Services to the Public Committee, to be given to such individuals as the committee, from time to time, shall determine have provided unique service that has resulted in significant improvement in the provision of legal services to the neediest among us.
The first recipient of the Jeffrey A. Ernico Award was Jim Carroll, former president of the Allegheny County Bar Association
