Regional Housing Legal Services offers free trainings on the following community economic development topics, upon request, to groups of ten or more:
  1. Representing Organizations - a) incorporation b) structure c) liability and d) reporting requirements;
  2. Non-profit Corporate Formation For Community Based Organizations a) organizational structure b) state incorporation c) federal employment identification number d) by-laws 3) 1023 application and f) form 8283 - Non cash contributions to charitable organizations;
  3. Basics of Community Development;
  4. Neighborhood Employment Opportunities - Your Right to Work;
  5. Child Care;
  6. Community Problem Solving;
  7. Vacancy Prevention including Tangled Title Issues;
  8. Low Income Housing Tax Credit Program.
