Volunteers Needed for National High School Mock Trial Championship, May 6-9 in Philadephia

Monday, March 22, 2010

For the first time in 14 years, Pennsylvania's legal community has the opportunity to provide its support for the National High School Mock Trial Championship, right here in Pennsylvania. The 27th annual tournament will take place in Philadelphia, May 6-9, 2010.

Hundreds of volunteers are needed to staff the event, which is being hosted by the Pennsylvania Bar Association and which includes more than 40 state-champion and regional mock trial teams from across the nation and around the world.

The Pennsylvania Bar Association includes public education about the law as part of its definition of public service and many lawyers fulfill part of their pro bono service by providing support for law-related and civics education, including the annual PBA Statewide High School Mock Trial Competition.

Follow the links below for more information on the competition or to volunteer.

Drexel University is a proud partner of the PBA Young Lawyers Division Statewide High School Mock Trial Competition and the leadership sponsor of the 2010 championship tournament.
