Organizers of "Wills for Heroes Pennsylvania" are searching for lawyer volunteers interested in serving as county coordinators for will and estate document preparation events. County coordinators will be responsible for planning and running events in their areas. Certification training, to be scheduled soon, will be provided to interested volunteers.
"Wills for Heroes Pennslvania," a project of the PBA Young Lawyers Division, provides free preparation of wills and other estate planning documents to Pennsylvania's police, fire and emergency medical personnel. The project is co-sponsored by the Philadelphia firm of Ballard Spahr Andrews & Ingersoll LLP, which has designated "Wills for Heroes" as one of its public service projects.
Interested volunteers should complete an online application. More information about the program is posted at the YLD section of the PBA Web site.
