The Public Service Committee of the Allegheny Bar Foundation is pleased to announce the addition of the Equity Protection Legal Clinic (EPLC) to the Pro Bono Center of Allegheny County.
This project provides "legacy preservation" legal services to low-income home owner-occupants. These transactional legal services include matters such as resolving "tangled title" issues and other services that secure and preserve ownership interests in real property.
EPLC's managing attorney, Irene McLaughlin, works with law students at the University of Pittsburgh and volunteer attorneys from the ACBA's Real Property Section and Probate & Trust Law Section Council.
Potential clients may contact EPLC through NeighborWorks® Western Pennsylvania, 412-325-7848 x115. For more information about the program, contact Irene McLaughlin, Esq. at mclaughlinster@gmail.com.
