Mazzoni Center will host its 11th annual Philadelphia Trans Health Conference from May 31, 2012 through June 2, 2012.
The conference features over 200 local, national and international programs focusing on the unique needs of the transgender community, including a full array of health and wellness issues.
During the conference, there will be programs specifically addressing legal issues that trans individuals experience, including employment discrimination, name changes, official documentation, immigration, school issues, and advocacy.
The program is free, and offers up to twelve hours of CLE credits for attendees. There will also be a drop-in legal clinic staffed by volunteer attorneys to assist conference attendees. To register and for more detailed information, please visit www.trans-health.org.
