On February 17, 2010 HIAS and Council HIAS and Council Migration Service of Philadelphia, Support Center for Child Advocates and others are sponsoring a free panel discussion, A Long Way From Home: Immigrant and Refugee Children Without Parents, from 12:00 noon to 1:00 p.m., at Montgomery, McCracken, Walker & Rhoads, LLP, 123 S. Broad St., in the Justice Roberts Conference Room.

Four panelists will discuss their experiences of fleeing to the United States without parents. This event is a brown bag lunch; drinks will be available.
